Calibrations
Calibrations are performed using several calibration options presented here.
A sample Calibration, using these options, is shown in Chapter 1 of this manual. User
controls for laboratory use are described in the following calibration options.
Note Calibration requires a Java-compliant browser over an IP-network connec

tion for real-time plot results, and so it is browser specific (IE 6/7, Opera
suggested) and connection-specific for best results.
Energy & Shape Coefficients
This page will allow you to modify the calibration coefficients for both energy and
shape. You can also select the preferred shape calibration (either square root or poly
-
nomial) using the 'Model to use' combo-box, in FWHM Equations.
