D. Rack-mounting Your Lynx
Lynx systems may be mounted in a conventional 19-inch equipment rack. An optional
rack mounting kit - LYNX-MOUNT KIT - is available.
One or two Lynx units may be rack-mounted in 2U of a 19-inch equipment rack using
one Rack Mount Kit. The rack mount kit includes the rack mount brackets with han
-
dles, a half-rack filler, and coupling screws.
If rack-mounting one unit, you will need to use the half-rack filler. If rack mounting
two units, they will be joined side by side, and the half-rack filler is not used.
CAUTION If opening the Lynx case (required only if rack mounting two
Lynx units) you must exercise care to prevent electro-static
discharge into the unit.
