Acquisition Time data
A listing of Acquisition Time parameters and the
current results is provided. Live data is presented
in real time in the status area.
Acquisition Start, Dead time, Comp. Preset
Region, CPS; and Live and Real times as both
Elapsed and Presets (if any), and totals.
Acquisition Calibration data
A listing of major Calibration parameters is
provided
Energy, FWHM and Low Tail parameters.
Input Comparison option,
with VFS adjustment
Enable to compare the spectral plots of two In
-
puts. This is done by overlaying the spectra on a
single plot but using distinct color settings.
Adjust VFS allows you to adjust the Amplitude
of the current Input for improved comparative
results. Select this Checkbox, and you may repo
-
sition the Amplitude on the spectral display with
your mouse (drag it to a new position).
You may use the Options to change colors or
other settings to improve the comparison view.
Region of Interest (ROI) marking
ROIs are marked by Lynx during acquisition,
and you may add or change ROI results,
especially during calibration.
Each setting is 'remembered' except those that are manually adjusted to tweak a resul-
tant display. All Users that access the Lynx DSA may use these settings.
The settings might be shown differently than as presented above, as some parameters
may be adjusted for more than one acquisition purpose, or are arranged in a logical or
-
der. The exact menu and feature controls are described in the following sections.
Spectrum or Display Preferences are provided as a tabbed option with other Spectral
parameters, or as a separate section, depending on your browser.
Menu Features
The Lynx menu uses a hierarchical system for access to feature parameters, which are
grouped appropriately for the intended purpose or function.
The Menu options provided to each user is dependent on their login ID, which is de
-
pendent on their 'Security' setting, which allows access to some or all options. Features
or options that are blocked for a User are, in most cases, omitted. Those items or selec
-
tions on a page that are inaccessible or restricted will be 'grayed out'.
