Acquisition Mode
Defines the acquisition mode for the input. The selection is dependent on the capabili

ties of the input. The various acquisition mode options are as follows:

PHA - Pulse Height Analysis
–
MCS - Multichannel Scaling
–
MSS - Multispectral Scaling
–
DLFC - Dual Loss Free Counting
–
LIST - Event recording
–
TLIST - Time stamped event recording
Acquisition Setup
The Acquisition Setup screen's controls affect the parameters for the current input.

It is possible to configure an acquisition to use both Computational Pre

sets and Time Presets. When both computational and time presets are de
-
fined, the Acquire Stop command is issued by the preset that is reached first.
Computational Presets
Computational Presets are available only when the Acquisition Mode is set to
PHA, MSS or DLFC. Refer to MCA Settings | Inputs for Acquisition Mode options.
Note
When both computational and time presets are defined, the Acquire Stop
command is issued by the preset that is reached first. If you want to use a
computational preset alone, set the Time Preset to None.
