Filter
The digital filter settings can be adjusted using the following Filter controls:
Mode
This determines the Filter shaper mode. This refers to the Triangular/Trapezoidal
weighting or shaping function.
Fast Disc Mode
Sets the mode of the fast discriminator to either Automatic or Manual.
•
Auto: the threshold is optimized automatically above the system noise level.
•
Manual allows user control of Fast Disc using the Fast Disc Threshold setting
(see Fast Disc).
Fast Disc Shaping
Sets the Fast Discriminator Shaping to Normal or Low Energy.
Fast Disc
Adjusts the Fast Discriminator threshold parameter applied when using Fast
Discriminator in Manual mode (see Fast Disc Mode). This allows manual adjust

ments above the spectrum noise level ( 0-100% above noise).
