Diags at startup
If Diags at startup is enabled, the selected diagnostic tests will automatically run
when the unit is powered on, without requiring the Submit button to be pressed.
Run diags now
Enabling this option will cause the selected diagnostics test(s) to run when the Submit
button is pressed.
Clear faults (Execute button)
To clear the Faults report, select the Clear faults Execute button. This will clear all
Faults in the fault table.
Unlock all inputs (Execute button)
Pressing this Execute button will unlock all inputs from a 'locked' state. State changes
will be visible in the Input table.
Diagnostic Tests
Three test options may be selected (checkboxes for each). The Tests will run when the
Submit button is pressed. If Diags at startup is enabled (above), the selected diagnos-
tic tests will run when the unit is powered on, without requiring the Submit button be-
ing pressed.
The Tests, and their resultant data, may include:
LEDs
The LEDs are tested by the system. A 'results' comment on the Lynx Menu will indi

cate a software-indicated 'success' or 'failure' response to this test.
Memory
Runs a memory test on the spectral memory for the currently-selected input. A 'results'
comment on the Lynx Menu will indicate a software-indicated 'success' or 'failure' re
-
sponse to this test.
File System
This test examines the persistent media to verify it is working properly.
