Display Options
The Display Options, below the DSO's display, let you turn on the display's Zoom
and Grid Lines functions. When first turned on, the scope's settings default to values
compatible with the Lynx's current settings (conversion gain, shaping time, etc).
Note
Enabling Zoom disables the Vertical and Horizontal Controls.
Analog Inputs
You can display any one of the available analog signals:
Slow Threshold – this will display the lower level threshold of the Spec
Shaper (Spectroscopy filter)
Fast Threshold – This will display the lower level threshold of the Fast
Shaper (Pile-up Rejection Filter)
Energy Mon – This may be used for a simple Energy Monitor
Fast Shape – This will display the Shaped (Spectroscopy Filter) signal use for
PHA
ADC – This will display the Lynx ADC (Analog to Digital Converter) input
signal.
Digital Signals
You can display any or all of the following signals and trigger the scope from any one
of the following digital signals:
Peak Detect – This signal displays the status of the spectroscopy filter peak
detector. The signal goes low when the signal crosses the slow discriminator
threshold level and begins searching for the peak signal amplitude. The signal
goes high when the system has detected the peak amplitude.
Slow Disc – Slow Discriminator. This signal displays the status of slow
(Spectroscopy) filter discriminator signal. This signal is high while when the
amplitude of the filter level is above the slow discriminator threshold level.
Fast Disc Fast Discriminator. This signal displays the status of the fast filter
(Pile-up) discriminator signal. This signal is high while when the amplitude of
the filter level is above the fast discriminator threshold level.
BLR Gate Baseline Restorer Gate. This signal displays the status of the slow
(Spectroscopy) filter baseline restorer gate. Baseline restoration is gated off
when this signal is high and active while this signal is low.
