PHA ACQ SS – External PHA Start/Stop input connector; BNC. TTL compatible,
software selectable polarity. Two modes, software-selectable.
For Start, Stop, or Start & Stop: If Start is enabled the first pulse >20 ns begins
acquisition when acquire has been armed.
If Stop is enabled a second pulse >20 ns will
stop the acquisition.
For Suspend & Resume: Active signal starts acquire. Inactive signal stops ac
-
quire.
MCS ACQ SS – External MCS Start/Stop input connector; BNC. TTL compatible,
Software selectable polarity. Two modes, programmable via software.
For Start, Stop, or Start & Stop: If Start is enabled the first pulse >20 ns begins
acquisition when acquire has been armed. If
Stop is enabled a second pulse >20 ns will
stop the acquisition.
For Suspend & Resume: Active signal starts acquire, inactive signal stops ac-
quire.
MCS CHANNEL ADVANCE – External MCS Channel Advance input connector;
BNC. The channel advance signal is TTL compatible, with software selectable polar-
ity. A Pulse >20 ns advances the current MCS channel.
MCS SWEEP ADVANCE – External MCS Sweep Advance input connector; BNC.
TTL compatible, Software selectable polarity. Pulse >20 ns resets the current sweep in
progress. The next sweep will begin. This will occur with each pulse until the Preset
Sweeps is reached.
GATE – Coincidence/Anti-Coincidence input connector; BNC. TTL compatible; Soft
-
ware polarity selectable.
Coincidence:
Signal active at the pulse processing time allows storage of the
event.
Anticoincidence:
Signal active at the pulse processing time blocks storage
of event. The pulse processing time occurs at 1.1 times
(rise plus flat top).
CHANGER READY – Sample Changer Ready input connector; BNC. TTL compati
-
ble, Software selectable polarity. Active signal allows acquisition. Inactive signal will
delay the start of acquisition.
