The External Start/Stop controls may be used as follows:
Start Only
External Start/Stop pulse starts an acquisition.
•
Acquisition is first armed by pressing the Start button, then an External
Start/Stop pulse starts the acquisition.
•
If acquisition is active, subsequent pulses are ignored.
Stop Only
External Start/Stop pulse stops an acquisition.
•
While Acquisition is active, then an External Start/Stop pulse stops the
acquisition.
•
If acquisition is not active, subsequent pulses are ignored.
Start and Stop
• If acquisition is inactive but armed, an External Start/Stop pulse starts the
acquisition.
• If acquisition is active, an External Start/Stop pulse stops the acquisition.
Suspend
• If acquisition is inactive but armed, an External Start/Stop pulse starts the
acquisition.
• Subsequent pulses may be used to suspend and resume acquisition.
Polarity
Select the PHA ACQ SS input signal Polarity: Positive or Negative.
