• Check that Heat Roll/Pressu
re Belt
are not scratched.
Replace where necessary.
To reset the counter, refer to
Chapter 6 (Life), and initialize the
life counter for Fusing PV/Fusing
Heattime.

Drum Cartridge
(XERO ASSY)

• Visual check only.
Do not touch the Drum Cartridge
(XERO ASSY) with hand.
Do not use solvents such as Drum
Cleaner.
(It will take longer time to
resume servicing.)
*3: To detect the life end of the
Drum, Drum rotation count
(Cycle), waste toner estimate, and
PV value count are used.

nation in the paper path and on the
jam
sensor.
• Check and clean the +Feed Roll/
Nudger
Roll and SEPARATION
PAD in the ROLLER ASSY DADF.

essary.
*2: Decide whether to reset the
counter based on the counter for
the FUSING UNIT. (Replace
together with the FUSING UNIT)
