Expansion cards and backup units
Ê Fold up the locking handle on the slot cover clamp (see arrow).
Ê Remove the slot cover clamp.

V CAUTION!
Keep the slot cover for future use.
Always replace slot brackets into unused PCI slot openings to comply
with applicable EMC regulations and satisfy cooling requirements.
9.5.1.3 Installing the expansion card
I If an optional FBU will be installed in the system, install a TFM on the
RAID controller, before proceeding.
For more information, see section "Installing the new TFM" on page 332.
Ê Remove the expansion card from its protective packaging.

accompanying documentation.
Ê If applicable, attach the required slot bracket to the expansion card, see
section "Handling slot brackets" on page 295.
Ê If applicable, connect internal cables to the expansion card.
