Chapter 10 System Setup
This chapter contains the information necessary to setup the Altanium controller for
operation. Many of the configurations are set in the System Setup screen, which are in
tabbed groups. Other configurations are found in their own screens, selected from the Home
screen. This chapter starts with an introduction to the System Setup screen with descriptions
of the configuration items in the tabs of the screen. The other sections in the chapter describe
the most used system-wide configurations for the Altanium controller and the steps to
complete them.
Users must be given access by approved persons to change items on the System Setup
screen. This is done with assigned user roles from the User Management and Screen Security
tabs. Refer to Chapter 5.
The configuration settings are grouped by their applicable function to make them easier to
find and set. The groups (or categories) are shown as six labeled tabs at the bottom of the
System Setup screen. The tabs are:
• Main 1 & Main 2
• User Management (refer to Chapter 5)
• Screen Security (refer to Chapter 5)
• Network
• Heats Setup
Touch a tab to see and configure the setups for that group.
The subsections that follow describe the setup items found on each tab of the System Setup
screen.
NOTE: Your System Setup screens could look different from what is shown in the sections
that follow.
NOTE: The User Management and Screen Security tabs are described in Chapter 5.
