Set the Timeframe 191
User Guide v 2.0 — March 2023 Data Recording
12.2.2 Set the Timeframe
You can select a timeframe for the curves in 1-, 2-, 4-, 8-, or 12-hour increments. The default
timeframe is 4 hours.
When the timeframe is changed, the system automatically updates the new start date and
time range. The old date and time range will not change.
To change the timeframe, do the steps that follow:
1. On the Home screen, touch the Process Monitoring button.
2. Touch the History Plot tab.
3. On the History Plot screen, touch the Timeframe field. Refer to Figure 12-3.
4. Touch a timeframe (1, 2, 4, 8, or 12) to select it.
12.2.3 Set the Date and Time Range
You can select a date range for the curves. The default Old date is the New date value minus
the Timeframe value. The default end date is the current date and time.
The Old and New date and time range fields are identified in Figure 12-3.
12.2.3.1 Change the Date and Time Range Old
Touch the Old date and time range field, enter the date and time in the Old dialog window
that shows, and then touch the Accept button.
If the calculated Date Range End value is later than the current system time, the Old Date
value is adjusted automatically to maintain the Timeframe value.
12.2.3.2 Change the Date and Time Range New
Touch the New date and time range field, enter the date and time in the New dialog window
that shows, and then touch the Accept button.
The New date and time range change automatically updates the Old date and time range by
the current timeframe duration.
NOTE: The date and time cannot be changed to a value later than the current system time.
Midline The midline is the middle value of the curve.
For example, (540 + (-90)) / 2 = 225).
Variable Selection
Button
Touch the button next to the process variable name to select a process
parameter to see.
Value X Axis value reflects the value of the parameter selected at a specific
moment in time.
