Table 10-5 gives the descriptions for the OPC UA interface items (left side of window).
10.2.7.2 Certificates
The Altanium Delta5 controller includes functions for creating, importing, and exporting
X.509 digital certificates for the purpose of fulfilling secure communication between the
client and server. It also provides the ability to create, import and export user certificates to
be used in user identity authentication.
The certificate management utility is shown on the right side of the OPC UA Interface
window. Figure 10-12 shows the certificate selections if Server certificates are used.
Figure 10-13 shows the certificate selections if Client or User Authentication certificates are
used.
Table 10-5 Interface Descriptions
Item Description
Interface Enable Enables or disables communication between the Altanium HRC
and the OPC UA server.
Connection Status A status that is displayed when the user enables the interface.
Possible values are:
• Disabled
• Connecting
• Connected
• Disconnected.
Disconnected Status Displays error descriptions of why the interface is disconnected.
Server Software Version The current version of the OPC UA server.
Service is Running A status LED indicator that lets the user know if the OPC UA server
service is running.
Export Diagnostic information that gets exported to a USB flash to aid in
troubleshooting technical issues.
