You can start production with the new resin.
13.4.3 No Color Change
This process is followed when cleaning the hot runner system is required to help flush out
degraded/carbonized resin deposits in the flow channels. The flowcharts (Figure 13-38)
below define the supported sequences when cleaning the hot runner with no color change.
13.4.3.1 No Color Change Example
The steps and figures that follow show the instructions only for sequence #4 in the process
flowcharts (Figure 13-38), as displayed on the Altanium controller’s screens. All four
sequences in Figure 13-38 must be done to complete the purge, but the steps that follow
guide you through sequence #4 as an example.
NOTE: As you start each sequence in Figure 13-38, look through the sequence steps to see if
the "Husky Machine Connection" or "Ultra Purge Booster" settings should be enabled
or not enabled. Set them, as necessary, before you touch the Ultra Purge Sequence
panel Start button.
