22 System Modes
ART The Active Reasoning Technology (ART) tuning process is active.
Calibration Shown during thermocouple input calibration for the zones.
Diagnostics The mold diagnostics process is active.
Firmware Update Shown during a firmware update on selected control cards.
Bake Out Cycle 1 Shown as the system is bakes out moisture in the mold. This is the first
bake of the mold.
Bake Out Cycle 2 Shown as the system is bakes out moisture in the mold. This is the second
bake of the mold.
Bake Out Cycle 3 Shown as the system is bakes out moisture in the mold. This is the third
bake of the mold.
Bake Out Cycle 4 Shown as the system is bakes out moisture in the mold. This is the fourth
bake of the mold.
Bake Out Cycle 5 Shown as the system is bakes out moisture in the mold. This is the fifth
bake of the mold.
Soft Start The system gradually increases the temperature of all zones to a setpoint
in an even process.
Soft Start to Manual
Standby
The system was put into Manual Standby while the system was in the Soft
Start process.
Soft Start to Remote
Standby
During the Soft Start process, an external signal was activated that tells
the system to increase the temperature of all zones to the Remote
Standby setpoint.
Stage x Active (Heating) The system increases the temperature to the stage setpoint for all zones
assigned to stage x (1-4).
Stage x Active (ART) The ART tuning process is applied only on the zones assigned to stage x.
Stage x Soaking
(Heating)
After the temperature has increased, the system keeps the zones’
temperature at the stage x setpoint until the soak timer completes.
Stage x Active (Cooling) All zones assigned to stage x decrease their temperature to the stage
setpoint.
Stage x Soaking
(Cooling)
After the temperature has decreased to the stage setpoint, the system
keeps the zones’ temperature at the stage x setpoint until the soak timer
completes.
Stage 4 Running
Indefinitely (Heating)
The system stays in stage 4 until the user touches the Start button to
increase the temperature(s) of the zones to the operation setpoint.
Bake Out Check The system examines all zones for bake out conditions. Bake out
conditions are not as much of a problem as earth leakage.
Earth Leakage Check The system examines all zones for earth leakage conditions.
Circuit Test The system makes sure that there are no heater circuit faults (open circuit,
short circuit, leakage, or wrong heater) on all zones.
