8.7 Perform Maintenance Actions

LAR | PROCESS ANALYSERS AG

1. Undo the tube connectors of the teflon tube.

2. Remove the old teflon tube and replace it with a new one having the same length.

3. Attach the new teflon tube at the tube connectors provided.

8.7.4 Replace Reactor Pipe Filling / Reactor Pipe

Precondition: - Reactor Pipe Filling is blocked or Reactor Pipe is damaged.

Danger

Danger of burns

Allow the oven to cool completely (2 hours in total). One hour after switching

off the furnace, the temperature of the reactor tube is still about 400° C to

500° C!

Always use heat-resistant gloves when working on the stove.

Warning

Correct re-assembly of removed components

During assembly, remember that all parts that have been removed and / or di-

sassembled must be reassembled as they were in their original condition.

4 Ceramic Balls 3.5 - 4.5mm
