9.2.3.2 Soda Lime Pellets with Indicator
The CO
2
in the ambient air must be removed before entering the analyser. When using soda lime
cookies with indicator, the safety regulations for corrosive substances must be observed. Gloves and
goggles should always be worn to prevent burns. When dust develops, a breathing mask must also be
worn. The filter cartridge for the soda
Lime cookies with indicator is located on the cabinet on the left side.
Notice
If the absorption capacities of the chemicals mentioned above are exhausted,
the zero signal of the CO
2
detector rises. The Zero signal can be checked in
the view „Sensors“ (Chapter 7.7.5.1 on page 113).
