INITIAL STEPS
Use the manual to help you plan the following:
Installation
Know your requirements:
certification requirements, CE/UL/CUL conformance
conformance with local installation requirements
supply and cabling requirements
Operation
Know your operator:
how is it to be operated, local and/or remote?
what level of user is going to operate the unit?
decide on the best menu level for the Keypad (where supplied)
Programming (Parker Drive Quicktool) – pc programming tool
Know your application:
Install the Parker Drive Quicktool (PDQ) after downloading it from www.parker.com/ssd/pdq
Connect your pc to your Drive via Ethernet
Commission your Drive with the Parker Drive Quicktool wizard
Go to Appendix D Parameter Reference for more information
