EARTHING/SAFETY DETAILS
Earthing
Permanent earthing is mandatory on all units.
Use a copper protective earth conductor 10mm² minimum cross-section, or install a second conductor in parallel with the
protective conductor to a separate protective earth terminal
The conductor itself must meet local requirements for a protective earth conductor
Input Supply Details
(TN) and (IT)
Drives without filters are suitable for earth referenced (TN) or non-earth referenced (IT) supplies.
The drive is only suitable for earth referenced supplies (TN) when fitted with an internal filter. External filters are available for
use on TN and IT (non-earth referenced) supplies.
Prospective Short Circuit
Current (PSCC)
Refer to the appropriate Electrical Ratings table.
Earth Leakage Current
>10mA (all models)
INTERNAL COOLING FANS
The forced-vent cooling of the drive is achieved by 1, or in some cases 2 fans. The Fan Rating gives the volume of air venting from the drive.
