Thesettingspageisdisplayed.
2.Switchon TimeTransmit:usingthetoggleswitch.
3.Select Standby:andchooseatimeinterval.
4.Select Transmit:andchoosethenumberofrotationsyouwanttheRadartoperform.
TheRadarwilltransmitforthespecifiednumberofrotationsandthenwillswitchtoStandbyforthe
specifiedtimeinterval,thesequencewillrepeatuntilTimedTransmitisswitchedoff.
TheTimedtransmitwillreverttoOffafterapowercycle.
Settingopenarrayantennasize
WhenconnectedtoanOpenArrayRadarScanneryoucanconfigurethe Antennasize.Settingthe
antennasizecanhelpwhensettingaParkingoffset.
FromtheRadarapp:
1.Select Menu>Settings>Transmission.
2.SelectthecorrectsizeforyourRadar’santennafromthe Antennasizeoption.
Bearingalignment
TheRadarbearingalignmentensuresthatRadarobjectsappearatthecorrectbearingrelativeto
yourvessel’sbow.Y oushouldcheckthebearingalignmentforanynewinstallation.
Checkingalignment
Alignthebowwithastationaryobjectbetween0.25and2NMaway.
Reducethegaintomakethetargetassmallaspossibleonthescreen.
NotethepositionoftheobjectontheRadarscreen.Ifthetargetisnotundertheship’sheading
marker(SHM),thenbearingalignmentadjustmentisrequired.
Adjustingalignment
Adjustthe
BearingalignmentsettinguntilthetargetobjectappearsundertheSHM.
Bearingalignmentsettingcanbeaccessedfromthe Installationtab: Menu>Installation>Bearing
alignment.
Note:Heading(HDG)isdisplayedintheR adarapplication.Pleasebeawarethatbearingalignment
referstotherelativebearingoftargetstothevessel'sbowusingvisualchecks/traditionalmeans.
