18. Cooling pump
18.1.2 Cleaning pump
What can happen
Due to crystallization inside the pump, the rotor can be jammed. This can be removed with a cloth or a cotton swab.
Necessary tools
• Cloth
• Cotton swab
How to clean the pump
1. Slide out the rotor.
2. Clean both side of the rotor with a cloth.

3. Clean with a soft cloth or with a cotton swab inside the pump body.
4. Reinsert the rotor
and turn and try to run it smoothly. If it is successful, the pump can be closed.
If cleaning is not p
ossible, replace the cooling pump body or replace the complete pump.
