20. Formatter Interface Board
20.1 Removing the FIB
To remove the Formatter Interface Board (FIB) you have to remove the light processor unit out of its compart-
ment first.
Necessary tools
Torx screwdriver Tx10
How to remove the Formatter Interface Board ?
1. Remove the indicated screws (9x) securing the cover plate of the FIB box.

2. Turn out the 2 times 3 screws securing the ground cable of each data cable.
3. Take off both metals covering the FIB.
4. Unplug all cables. Be careful not to damage the wires and connect
ors.
5. Turn out the 7 indicated screws securing the board in the box.

6. Take out the defective FIB.
