24.4.2 Fan replacement
Necessary tools
Allen key 3 mm
How to replace
1. Turn out the 4 screws A and away the lock washers. Remove also screw B.

Removing fan
2. Take off the fan fixation plate C.
3. Lift up plate D and pull the cable through the hole.
The defective fan becomes free.
4. Take a new fan and slide plate A over the cable. Place the plate on the
fan so that the fixation holes matches the holes in the fan.

Assembling the fan assembly
5. Put fixation plate D on plate A so that the gap in the plate matches the cable way through and the fixation holes matches the
holes in plate A.
6. Turn in the 4 screws C, but insert a lock washer between each screw and the plate. Turn in screw B.
The fan assembly is ready to be mounted in the projector.
