About this chapter
This chapter describes how to replace the UV filter inside the projector.
About the UV filter
Visible light goes through this UV filter. UV light and IR light is reflected towards the cold mirror. The following type of UV f
ilters can
be found in the FLM series projectors:
• Round frame with a round UV glass. This type must be replace with the same round type = kit R849250K.
• Squared frame with a round UV glass. This type must be replace with the squared type = kit R8492501K.
• Squared frame with a squared UV glass. This type must be replace with the squared type = kit R8492501K.

The UV filter should be replaced with a new one when:
•Broken
•Durty
CAUTION: While removing the UV filter or mounting the new filter, do not touch the cold mirror.
