7.5.1.1 DevConfig Setup Tools
The most versatile set up tool is Device Configuration Utility, or DevConfig. It is
bundled with LoggerNet, PC400, RTDAQ, or it can be downloaded from
www.campbellsci.com/downloads. It has the following basic features:
Extensive context sensitive help
Connects directly to the CR800 over a serial or IP connection
Facilitates access to most settings, status fields, and info table
information fields
Includes a terminal emulator that facilitates access to the command
prompt of the CR800
DevConfig Help guides you through connection and use. The simplest connection
is to connect a serial cable from the computer COM port or USB port to the RS-
232 port on the CR800 as shown in figure Connect Power and Comms.
