Input Polarity
Sets the Amplifier's Input Polarity to match the polarity of the preamplifier's output.
TRP Inhibit Mode
Sets the TRP Inhibit Mode to Manual or Automatic. Either mode is triggered by an
external signal generated by the TRP detector/preamp, and received on the rear-panel
BNC labeled TRP INH.
Automatic Mode indicates that the external TRP Inhibit pulse - generated by the
TRP detector/preamp - will cause the signal processor to inhibit for the greater of the
internal recovery time (ADC saturation time + 2x TRP pulse width) or external TRP
Inhibit time (set below).
Manual Mode uses the TRP Inhibit parameter time setting (see below).
TRP Inhibit (time in
s)
This is used when TRP Inhibit operation is set for Manual mode. An external TRP
inhibit signal is provided to the TRP INH connector on the rear panel. Events are
not recorded when the signal is active.
This parameter is the amplifier's Inhibit Latch timer value. This parameter sets the In-
hibit Time, in a range from 0 to 160 µs in 10 µs steps. When the external TRP inhibit
signal is received (to TRP INH on the rear panel) it is used as a latch to enable a gate
with a duration defined by this parameter. During this gate, events are not recorded.
TRP Gate Polarity
Defines the polarity of the TRP INH input.
