Parameter
packetnum: Specifies the maximum transmission speed of the port, ranging from 1 to
255. (It is a counter without unit.) By default, the value is 3.
Description
Using stp transit-limit command, you can configure a limit to the transmission speed
of the current Ethernet port. Using undo stp transit-limit command, you can restore
the default speed limit.
You can use this command to set a limit to the transmission speed of the current
Ethernet port. The greater the speed is, the more the packets can be transmitted in the
unit time. However, if the value is set too large, it will occupy excessive switch
resources.
Example
# Set a limit of 5 to the transmission speed of Ethernet0/1.
[Quidway-Ethernet0/1] stp transit-limit 5
