Using a router transport kit:
•
Position the router transport platform in front of the rack, and adjust the four leveling mounts using
an 8 mm Allen wrench to align the platform with the bottom of the mounting shelf and the chassis.
•
Unscrew and remove the mounting screws from the front mounting flange on the rack.
•
A minimum of four people can then slide the router onto the router transport platform by using the
handles on the shipping covers.
•
Secure the four toggle latches to the router transport platform.
•
Using a two person team, adjust the height on the router transport platform to install the router
transport mounting plates and wheel assembly.
WARNING: Do not raise the router more than 1 in. (2.54 cm). Doing so can
make the router unstable.
•
Attach the router transport mounting plates and wheel assembly to both sides of the chassis using
the captive screws, tighten to secure.
NOTE: You may have to adjust the wheel assembly to installed the router transport
mounting plates.
•
Using a two person team, crank the handles 4-5 times until the router is lifted approximately 1 in.
(2.54 cm).
WARNING: Do not raise the router transport over the required limit. Doing
so can make the router unstable during transport.
•
Unlatch the four toggle latches that secure the router transport platform to the router mounting
plate and wheel assembly.
•
Remove the router transport platform away from the bottom of the router, and set aside
•
Position the crate door in front of the shipping crate and secure the two latches.
•
Guide the router up the ramp and into the shipping crate.
•
Lower the router until the chassis is resting firmly onto the shipping crate platform.
•
Remove the router transport mounting plates and wheel assembly from the chassis.
