Selecting Programs via MIDI
YoucanselectanyProgramfromanybankbyusing
MIDIProgramChangemessagesinconjunctionwith
MIDIBankSelectmessages.WhenyouselectPrograms
fromthefrontpanel,theappropriateMIDImessages
aresentautomatically(unlessMIDIfiltersareactive;
seebelow).
IfyouareenteringtheMIDImessagesmanuallyintoa

comebeforetheProgramSelectmessage.

WiththeexceptionoftheDrumTrack,alltransmission
andreceptionofMIDIdatainProgrammodeis
performedontheGlobalMIDIChannel.Youcanset
thisontheGlobalmodeP1MIDIpage.
