Task Touch Description
Load a recipe
Load or Delete a
Recipe
1. Select the recipe you want use.
2. Touch Load to continue.
The Recipes button on the Home screen shows the name of
the currently loaded recipe.
Delete a recipe 1. Select the recipe you want to delete.
2. Touch Delete to continue.
NOTE: The melter retains the settings of the previously
loaded recipe.
Unload and/or not
make use of any
recipe
Do not use a
Recipe
The system unloads the currently loaded recipe. The
Recipes button on the Home screen indicates Nothing
Loaded.
Select this option when troubleshooting or performing
maintenance on the melter.
NOTE: The melter retains the settings of the previously
loaded recipe.
Create a new
recipe
Save Recipe 1. Configure and test the melter settings until they meet your
manufacturing requirements.
2. On the Recipes screen, touch Save Recipe and enter an
easily identifiable recipe name. Refer to Table 4‐24 for
the melter settings that are saved in a recipe.
Modify an existing
recipe
Save Recipe 1. Enter the correct melter settings for the recipe you want
to modify.
2. Touch Save Recipe and enter the exact same recipe
name. The system unloads the currently loaded recipe,
saves the new settings, and automatically loads the
modified recipe.
