Fill System Repair Procedures
WARNING! Molten material! Wear eye or face protection, clothing that
protects exposed skin, and heat‐protective gloves when servicing equipment
that contains molten hot melt. Even when solidified, hot melt can still cause
burns. Failure to wear appropriate personal protective equipment can result
in personal injury.
Replacing the Transfer Pump or Transfer Pump O‐Rings
You will need the following items:
 Transfer pump service kit
 Transfer pump O‐ring service kit
 O‐ring lubricant
Refer to Section 9, Parts, for service kit part numbers.
To prepare for this procedure
1. From the Home screen, touch Master Controls > Refill to disable the fill
system.
2. Disconnect the compressed air supply to the adhesive bin.
To remove the transfer pump
1. Loosen the thumb screw on the adhesive transfer hose retaining clip and
then unlatch the clip.
2. Turn the hose retaining ring counterclockwise to disconnect the hose
from pump.
3. Disconnect the air supply tubing from the pump outer section.
4. See Figure 8‐35. Use a pull and twist action to remove the pump
assembly from the bin.
