Tilting Open the Hydraulics Assembly
Use this procedure as needed to tilt open the hydraulics assembly to view
hydraulic components or perform repairs.
WARNING! Molten material! Wear eye or face protection, clothing that
protects exposed skin, and heat‐protective gloves when servicing equipment
that contains molten hot melt. Even when solidified, hot melt can still cause
burns. Failure to wear appropriate personal protective equipment can result
in personal injury.
To tilt open the hydraulics assembly
1. From the Home screen, touch Master Controls > Refill to disable the fill
system.
2. Remove the hydraulics cover. Refer to Removing or Installing Covers in
Section 6, Maintenance, as needed.
3. See Figure 8‐2. Pull the spring-loaded pin to release the assembly and
carefully tilt it open.
