Replacing a Cyclone Assembly Component
You will need the following items:
 Cyclone assembly service kit
 4‐mm and 5‐mm hex keys
 Phillips‐head screwdriver
Refer to Section 9, Parts, for service kit part numbers.
To prepare for this procedure
1. Relieve system pressure. Refer to Relieving System Pressure in
Section6, Maintenance, as needed.
2. Disconnect the compressed air supply to the melter.
3. Switch off the melter and disconnect and lock out input power to the
melter.
4. Remove the hydraulics cover. Refer to Removing or Installing Covers in
Section 6, Maintenance, as needed.
5. See Figure 8‐20. Pull the spring-loaded pin and carefully tilt open the
hydraulics assembly.
