Replacing the Vibrator
You will need the following items:
 Vibrator service kit
 15‐mm socket
 6‐in. extension
 Ratcheting drive
 17‐mm open end wrench (for air fittings)
Refer to Section 9, Parts, for service kit part numbers.
To prepare for this procedure
1. From the Home screen, touch Master Controls > Refill to disable the fill
system.
2. Disconnect the compressed air supply to the adhesive bin.
To replace the vibrator
See Figure 8‐37.
1. Disconnect the air line tubing from the air inlet (1) and exhaust (3) fittings
on the vibrator (4).
2. Remove the retaining nuts (2) that secure the vibrator to the bin, and then
remove the vibrator.
3. Remove the air fittings from the old vibrator and install them on the
replacement vibrator.
4. Use the retaining nuts removed previously to install the replacement
vibrator. Make sure the ¼ NPT port is on the top side, pointing toward the
solenoid valve, and the ⅜ NPT port is on the bottom side.
5. Reconnect the air line tubing to the vibrator inlet and exhaust ports.
6. Reconnect the compressed air supply to the bin.
7. Enable the fill system and restore the system to normal operation.
