Purging the Melter
Performing a purge empties all adhesive from the melter.
1. Relieve system pressure. Refer to Relieving System Pressure in
Section6, Maintenance, as needed.
2. Place a drain pan under the melter manifold and disconnect a hose from
one of the hose ports marked 1.
3. From the Home screen, touch Pump > Purge.
NOTE: The fill system is automatically disabled during a purge.
4. When adhesive stops flowing from the manifold, touch Purge to stop the
purge.
5. Reconnect the hose and appropriately dispose of the drained adhesive.
