Entering Standby Settings
When the system enters a standby mode, heated zones are reduced
accordingly from their setpoint temperatures by the specified number of
degrees. Using standby during downtimes conserves power and allows for a
quicker production restart than simply switching off the heaters would allow.
Table 4‐11 summarizes the standby functionality. For all standby functions,
the system reduces the zone setpoint temperatures by the number of
degrees specified for Standby Temp Delta. Refer to Standby Temp Delta
Setup in this section to verify or change this setting.

Zone Standby When Zone Standby is

automatically places a
hose/applicator zone in
zone standby if no
applicator input signal is
received for the amount of
time specified for Zone
Standby Time.
Verify the Zone Standby
Time setting and switch
Zone Standby On.
Refer to Zone Standby
Setup in this section.
By default, Zone
Standby is switched
Off.
Zones that enter
standby due to Zone
Standby must be
re‐enabled separately.
If all hose/applicator
zones enter zone
standby, then the
system enters
automatic standby.
The manifold and gird
temperature are not
affected unless the
system enters
automatic standby.
Manual Standby The system can be placed
into manual standby either
manually or by remote
input. The system can be
set to automatically exit
manual standby after the
amount of time specified
for Auto Exit Standby
Time elapses.
To place the system in
manual standby at any
time, touch Master
Controls > Standby.
If you want the system to
exit manual standby after
a certain amount of time,
enter an Auto Exit
Standby Time setting
and enable Auto Exit
Standby Time. Refer to
Manual Standby/Auto Exit
Standby Time Setup in
this section.
By default, Auto Exit
Standby Time is
disabled.
