About the EventLog.csv File
All events, regardless of which filter you selected, are saved in the
eventLog.csv file. The maximum file size is limited to 500 kB or
approximately 5,600 events. You can view this file in most any spreadsheet
program.
When the eventLog.csv exceeds its 500 kB file size limit, the control system:
Automatically creates an eventLog02.csv file and saves new event
log data to this file.
Stores old event log data on the eventLog.csv file.
When the EventLog02.csv file exceeds its 500 kB file size limit, the control
system:
Automatically clears the old event log data from the eventLog.csv file
and saves the new event log data to the file.
Stores the old event log data on the eventLog02.csv file.
This pattern repeats itself, with the two csv files swapping between saving
new event log data and storing old event log data.
About the Diagnostic.nor File
The diagnostic.nor file includes event log data and additional embedded
melter software and hardware data to help your Nordson Representative
resolve melter issues. If you cannot resolve a troubleshooting issue, Nordson
Corporation recommends emailing the diagnostic.nor file to your Nordson
Representative. Before doing so, make sure:
You have a computer with an SD card reader/writer.
Your computer has Internet access.
NOTES:
You will not be able to open or view the diagnostic.nor file, as it is in a
Nordson propriety file format.
Send only the diagnostic.nor, file to your Nordson Representive. It
includes the event log data as well as additional embedded software
and hardware data.
