Upgrading the Firmware
There are two methods for upgrading the firmware. Nordson Corporation
may provide the new firmware preinstalled on a new customer SD card or as
an electronic file only.
You will need the following items:
SD card service kit
3‐mm hex key
Refer to Section 9, Parts, for service kit part numbers.
Upgrading the Firmware by Installing a New Customer SD Card
1. Switch off the melter and disconnect and lock out input power to the
melter.
2. See Figure 6‐6. Open the touchscreen assembly as follows:
a.. Loosen, but do not remove, the screws on the underside of the
touchscreen assembly.
b.. Lift up the entire panel and tilt the top of the panel away from the
melter.
