Mounting the Melter on the Bench Stand
NOTE: The bench stand is ordered separately. Refer to Optional
Accessories in Section 9, Parts, for the part number.
CAUTION! Risk of equipment damage. A Freedom hot melt system with four
hoses weighs approximately 68 kg (150 lb). Nordson Corporation
recommends a selecting a mounting location that will support a system
weight of at least 113 kg (250 lb).
1. Select a stable, level mounting surface that will support the weight of the
complete system.
2. Drill and tap holes as shown in Figure 3‐12 for the four customer‐supplied
bolts that will be used to secure the bench stand to the mounting surface.
