Touchscreen Troubleshooting Table
Problem Possible Cause Corrective Action
1. Touchscreen buttons
not working
Touchscreen not properly
calibrated
Calibrate the touchscreen. Refer to
Calibrating the Touchscreen earlier in
this section.
If you cannot access the Calibrate
Screen button, cycle the power and
touch the Calibrate Screen button
when it appears on the opening
splash screen. Touch the center of
the four + symbols to calibrate the
touchscreen. After touching the last +,
allow at least 5 seconds for the
software to respond.
2. Touchscreen blank Power cable to CPU/LCD board
disconnected
Open the electrical enclosure and
make sure the power cable (the one
with a green housing) is properly
connected to the CPU/LCD board.
Melter Troubleshooting Table
Problem Possible Cause Corrective Action
1. Melter not functioning No line voltage Connect line voltage.
Main power switch not switched on Place the main power switch in ON
position.
Main power switch defective Replace the main power switch.
24 VDC power supply defective Replace the power supply board.
Refer to Replacing a Circuit Board in
Section 8, Repair.
Loose or disconnected harness Check all harness connections.
Incorrect voltage plug installed Check the electrical installation. Refer
to Configure the Electrical Service in
Section 3, Installation.
