Initial System Startup
Follow this procedure for initial (first-time) startup and testing of the system.
Initial startup includes:
 Calibrating the level sensor
 Flushing the system (melter, hoses, and applicators)
 Testing the system operation
To calibrate the level sensor
CAUTION! This procedure applies only to the initial calibration of the hot melt
system, before any adhesive has been added. Refer to Calibrating the Level
Sensor in Section 7, Troubleshooting, for the correct calibration procedure
for all other calibration situations.
1.. Switch the melter on. The Home screen appears.
2.. Make sure the pump is Off. Touch Pump > Pump Control and observe
the Pump Control button to determine the On/Off status of the pump.
