Reverting Back to a Previous Firmware Version
As part of the upgrade process, the current *.dat file is automatically copied
to the \backup directory on the customer SD card.
1. Switch off the melter and disconnect and lock out input power to the
melter.
2. Open the touchscreen assembly and remove the customer SD card. See
Figures 6‐6 and 6‐7 if needed.
3. Using a PC or laptop with an SD card reader/writer, do the following:
Navigate to the \backup directory on the customer SD card and copy
the *.dat file you want.
Navigate to the root directory on the customer SD card and and paste
the *.dat file.
4. Reinstall the customer SD card, close the touchscreen assembly, restore
power to the system, and switch the melter on.
The system automatically detects a new *.dat file and does the following:
Performs the downgrade
Copies the current *.dat file to the \backup directory on the internal
SD card
Automatically reboots the melter when the upgrade is complete
(usually in about 10 minutes)
