Setting Up the Smart Melt Capability
To use the Smart Melt capability, follow this procedure to specify the system
Smart Melt settings. When enabled, the Smart Melt capability reduces the
grid temperature to the user‐specified temperature setpoint if the fill system is
inactive for the user‐specified amount of time.
1.. From the Home screen, touch Master Controls > Settings >
Temperature.
2.. Touch Smart Melt Temperature and use the keypad to enter the
number of degrees by which the grid temperature will be reduced. Refer
to Table4‐7 for default and optional settings.
3.. Touch Done.
4.. Touch Smart Melt Time and use the keypad to enter how long the fill
system can remain inactive before the Smart Melt capability switches on.
Refer to Table4‐7 for default and optional settings.
5.. Touch Done.
6.. Touch Smart Melt to enable the Smart Melt capability.
7.. Touch Done.
