Replacing the Touchscreen Assembly
You will need the following items:
 Touchscreen assembly service kit
 3‐mm hex key
Refer to Section 9, Parts, for service kit part numbers.
To prepare for this procedure
1. Switch off the melter and disconnect and lock out input power to the
melter.
2. Remove the controls cover. Refer to Removing or Installing Covers in
Section 6, Maintenance, as needed.
To remove the touchscreen assembly
1. See Figure 8‐18. Open the touchscreen assembly as follows:
a.. Loosen, but do not remove, the screws on the underside of the
touchscreen assembly.
b.. Lift up the entire panel and tilt the top of the panel away from the
melter.
