WARNING! Allow only personnel with appropriate training and experience to
operate or service the equipment. The use of untrained or inexperienced
personnel to operate or service the equipment can result in injury, including
death, to themselves and others, and damage to the equipment.
Introduction
Use the procedures in this section during installation and then as needed to
set up the adhesive hot melt system.
The hot melt system is operated through a user‐friendly touchscreen
interface. The pre‐programmed factory default settings will work for most
applications, but many settings can be customized. Refer to Appendix B,
Control System Settings, for a complete list of all editable settings and their
factory defaults and optional values.
NOTE: Changed settings are permanently stored approximately every two
minutes. If the system is switched off within two minutes after a setting is
changed, the change may not be saved.
