Replacing the Level Sensor Cable
You will need the following items:
Level sensor cable service kit
3‐mm and 5‐mm hex keys
8‐mm open‐end wrench
Refer to Section 9, Parts, for service kit part numbers.
To prepare for this procedure
1. Switch off the melter and disconnect and lock out input power to the
melter.
2. Remove the controls and hydraulics covers. Refer to Removing or
Installing Covers in Section 6, Maintenance, as needed.
3. Open the insulation around the hydraulics assembly.
4. See Figure 8‐6. Pull the spring-loaded pin and carefully tilt open the
hydraulics assembly.
