To replace a thermostat
See Figure 8‐5.
1. Cut the cable ties that secure the thermostat boot (2, 4) and remove the
boot.
2. Disconnect the spade connectors from the thermostat and remove the
thermostat.
3. Apply thermal compound to the new thermostat and install it using the
new screws from the service kit.
4. Reconnect the spade connectors.
5. Install a new boot on the thermostat and secure the boot with the cable
ties.
6. Close the hydraulics assembly insulation, reinstall the hydraulics cover,
and restore the system to normal operation.
