To remove an RTD (contd)
3. Use the supplied pin removal tool (P/N100586) to remove the pins for the
RTD being replaced from the bulkhead harness connector. See
Figure8‐4 to determine which pins to remove.
4. Cut the pin ends and the RTD end of the RTD wires. Discard the old pins
and RTD.

To install an RTD
1. Insert the new RTD pins in the bulkhead harness connector and use the
supplied cable ties to secure the new RTD wires to the harness.
2. Place the new RTD in its slot and secure it using the retaining clip and
screws removed previously.
3. Plug the bulkhead harness connector into the BHRX1 connection.
4. Continue to the next procedure to replace a thermostat, or close the
hydraulics assembly insulation, reinstall the hydraulics cover, and restore
the system to normal operation.
