Modes of Operation
Heating (Normal Mode)
The melter operates by switching the heaters on or off to reach or maintain
setpoint temperatures. The melter reaches system ready status when all
heated zones (grid, manifold, hoses, and applicators) reach their setpoint
temperatures.
Standby
All heated zones are reduced from their setpoint temperatures by the
user‐specified number of degrees.
Smart Melt
If the fill system is inactive for a user‐specified amount of time, the Smart Melt
capability reduces the grid temperature to the user‐specified temperature
setpoint.
Fault
The melter alerts the operator when an abnormal event occurs.
